Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-14 · Operating entity: PriceQuill · Contact: hello@pricequill.com
1. What we provide
PriceQuill provides competitor price-monitoring as a service. Depending on your plan, this includes: (a) a scheduled pipeline that captures listed public product pages, (b) cleaning and normalization of captured data, and (c) a periodic report highlighting price and stock changes. Deliverables and scope are defined per order (typically a set number of URLs and competitor sites).
Parts of our materials and communications are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a human before delivery.
2. Acceptable use & monitoring limits
- We monitor publicly accessible pages only. We do not log in, defeat captchas, or bypass anti-bot or access controls.
- We respect each target site's
robots.txtand Terms of Service. If a site prohibits automated access, we will exclude that URL rather than circumvent it, and tell you. - Requests are throttled to low, non-disruptive frequency.
- You confirm you have the right to provide us the target URLs and that monitoring them is lawful for your purpose. You may not direct us to monitor sites in violation of their terms or applicable law.
3. No warranty on third‑party data
Competitor pages can change, become unavailable, or block access at any time. We provide the report as is and do not warrant completeness, uninterrupted collection, or that any specific URL will remain monitorable. We are not responsible for business decisions made using the reports.
4. Fees, trials & refunds
Subscription and one-time fees are stated on the pricing page and charged at checkout through our payment provider. Subscriptions have no long-term contract: they recur monthly or annually and you may cancel at any time, with billing stopping after the current paid period. Refunds: if, in your first subscription month, we fail to deliver two scheduled reports on time, we refund that month's fee. One-time digital items (templates and the Kit) are non-refundable once delivered. We do not advertise a blanket "money-back if unsatisfied" guarantee.
5. Intellectual property
Reports and materials we deliver are licensed to you for internal business use. Our scripts, templates, and site content remain our property. You keep ownership of data you supply.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate a subscription with notice per the billing cycle. On termination, recurring monitoring stops; any data you supplied can be exported or deleted on request.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated to active customers before taking effect.
These terms were drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a human before publishing; they are a plain-language summary and are not legal advice.
