Is PriceQuill free?
Yes. The browser report generator is free and stays free. A one-time $29 PriceQuill Kit (report script, CSV templates and a compliance checklist) is on a waitlist and is not on sale yet.
Does PriceQuill upload my files or fetch competitor websites?
No. The comparison runs entirely in your browser. Your CSV files are never uploaded, and the tool never fetches or visits any website.
Do I need to install an app or grant store permissions?
No. There is no install, no OAuth and no access to your products, orders or customers. You simply supply price snapshots as CSV files.
Is competitor price monitoring compliant?
Monitoring prices that any normal visitor can see, at a low frequency, is the accepted approach. Respect each target site’s robots.txt and terms of use, never bypass captchas or anti-bot protection, and exclude sites that block you rather than circumvent them. See our compliance guide.
